UK Insurance Awards Throw up Surprise Winner

It’s not often that an insurance company picks up any accolades, but one company are currently the toast of the industry following their award for customer focus and support.

Kwik Fit Insurance has picked itself up another industry accolade, following an extremely successful year. The insurance intermediary won the award for Customer Focus at the Contact Centre Innovation Awards - in recognition for its Smart Co department.

This department was launched in 2007 in the company-within-a-company conceptual line, looking to deliver outstanding customer service. Smart Co provides personalized customer experience thanks to multi-skilled account managers that can deal with all types of customer needs. All of this is done without a need for endless transfers for customers to be served. Their range of cheapest van insurance was a success with customers. Their business insurance services were also very well-received.

This sort of accolade could lead to other companies trying to duplicate this sort of customer service. The onus is then placed on the company to know exactly what its customers need, but the customer can also help the company - how? An informed customer can tell the company exactly what he/she needs, which can then help the company and can help save themselves a bit of cash.
